Regular Classes
We offer a variety of classes to cater to dancers at every level. Whether you’re just starting your journey with West Coast Swing or looking to refine and expand your skills, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a breakdown of what we offer:
Weekly Class
Join us every Thursday at Bristol Folk House!
If you’ve completed a Beginner Day or Beginner Course, this is the perfect next step. Our central venue has a spacious dance floor, air conditioning, and a cosy café area, which is ideal for chatting between dances.
No need to book — just drop in!
Evening Schedule:
7:00 pm | Level 2: Build on your basics and grow your confidence.
8:00 pm | Short-song social: Open to everyone, a chance to dance and mingle to short songs!
8:15 pm | Level 3: Confident WCS dancers wanting to take their dancing further.
9:15 pm | Social dancing: Relax, dance, and enjoy the evening together.
Prices:
Level 2 – £8
Level 3 – £12 (includes Level 2 + socials)
Credit Packs (flexible & great value):
£50 for 5 credits (valid 3 months)
£90 for 10 credits (valid 5 months)

Level 2
7-8pm | Basics & Beyond
For those who have attended a Beginner Day or a Beginner Course and are familiar with the 5 WCS basics.
This class develops your technique and connection within core WCS patterns, as well as introducing you to variations styling and bridging patterns to take you beyond the basics.
Level 3
8:15-9:15pm | Experienced
For seasoned WCS dancers ready to refine their technique, and push their content. This class focuses on more nuanced partnering, connection, timing, and rhythms. A solid grasp of the fundamentals and bridging patterns is required to attend.
Best for: At least 6 months WCS experience.
Social Dancing
Social Dancing 9:15-10pm
End the night with social dancing! Practice new skills or just enjoy dancing to great music and chatting to fellow dancers.
We play a mix of Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Electronic, Blues, Country music, and more typically ranging from 80 to 110 bpm!
